I recently went to the Corner House during Winterlicious. I called to make a reservation for Friday February 3rd and was greeted by a recording saying the restaurant was full for the remainder of Winterlicious. Desperate to get a Friday reservation, I went on-line to “Open Table” and was able to get a 8:15 pm reservation for Friday. Thank goodness for on-line restaurant reservations!

Every winter I make an effort to check out at least one new restaurant through Winterlicious. The annual extravaganza allows you to visit a number of very popular Toronto Restaurants and eat from a three course prix fixe menu. The menus range from $15-$25 for lunch and $25-$45 for dinner per person...

My boyfriend and I love to go watch live sports. We enjoy everything from NBA, to NFL, to CFL, to MLB. In the last few months we have been going to a lot of games. Maybe it was the lock out, or maybe it is the number of our friends who have season passes this year, either way we have seen our share of live games.
